Burnie Show Sep 30 / Oct 1 2016
The weather stayed pretty kind to us over the two days of the show, with late showers in the afternoon on both days.
We were also set up on the south-eastern side of the show ground this year.
Members who attended were:
Brian Scott, who displayed two lawn mowers and a petrol engine with a water pump and also two small diesel engines, which he revved up every couple of hours and smoked everyone out.
Viv Voss had two small petrol engines which he bought along to display.
Pat and Heather Harris displayed a petrol engine with a water pump and also an old reel lawn mower.
Rex Woodberry had a display of various types of hand working tools.
Ray Harris bought along a diesel engine and assorted chainsaws to display.
Nigel Boyd had a good display of railway tracks, memorabilia and his cruise liner. Over the day he also did his spruiking of come get your pop dog, chips and donuts at least a dozen times throughout the day.
Scott Allsop had a display of model engines.
Katie Best did her best to keep the pot boiling for the members throughout the two days for their coffees and tea.
We had two late arrivals on Saturday, Kevin Reeve and Michael Clark they arrived at 2.30 to display but we were packing up then so too late to display, but the thought was there that they did front up for the show.
All in all a good quiet two days at the show for our members.
