The Historical Machinery Club of Tasmania inc was formed at a meeting held on Tuesday 7th June 1988 at Monty’s Restaurant in Penguin.
Present at that meeting were Messrs E Dyke (Chariman), K. Allen, G. Weeks, S. Ennis, R. McCall, R. Green, D. Burk, M. Walsh, R. Sharman, P. Dixon, E. Sharman, E. Richardson, R. Brooks and R. Clark.
